NEW YEAR NEW ME?

Hello Dolls,

Asenva here rising like a phoenix from the ashes! JK I'm more like a zombie.

Where have you been? What have you been up to? Do you even still like BJDs?

I've been busy as usual juggling different jobs and side hustles. Between you and me I'm trying everything I can to get out of teaching. (I'll save that rant/TED talk for later)

Let's talk dolls- that's what I really want to get back to. There are so many amazing dolls coming out and new artists that pop up all the time. Let's start with the big companies first.

Danny continues to tease us in the Smartdoll world and I eagerly await to see when he will release the boy dolls. I'm kind of missing the old heads but the new ones look ok. If he really plans on making them to be inspired by the hit delulu mobile game Love and Deepspace then I'm on board (especially if he makes a Sylus).

New doll companies like Aolingshi are making some really amazing looking dolls at extremely affordable prices.

Speaking of…I recently went to Doll Con Dallas and saw that Sam from Nocturne Studios was selling one. I immediately fell in love and purchase him! (With hubby’s support of course) He is now my largest doll in my collection standing at 75cm. I will have to talk more about him in another newsletter.

I always enjoy seeing the new dolls from different companies. The creativity that goes into these dolls never ceases to amaze me. My favorite innovative doll I have right now is named Sandio ( Watermellon in Spanish but male). He is from a doll company called Affiadolls. Please go check out this creative artist! I am smitten with him and am even working on getting custom clothes for him!

In other news I am going to start working on some more videos here and there. I really want to go back to making videos like I used to purely for fun. What kinds of videos do you miss seeing?
